I saw the greatest thing on my way home from work today.
Fireflies are really common around campus and I got to watch a fuzzy little sqirrel look like a complete dumbass trying to chase them down...or rather leaping tactlessly at one everytime one close by glows.
I'm sure it's just looking for a source of easy protein, but fireflies aren't all that big considering there's probably a good half eaten slice of pepperoni pizza lying on the ground somewhere nearby from a UPenn scumbag student who can't seem to make it to the garbage can 2 meters away.
Regardless...mmm...glowing chemically protein. >_>
